Blade Read as Resource: Wu Earth in Horse Month
Blade Read as Resource is a specific method for a Wu-Earth day in Wu-Horse month. Wu-Horse contains both Ji Rob Wealth and Ding Direct Resource. When Fire support leads the reading, the passage interprets the arrangement through Resource; Ji does not literally turn into Ding.
Why can the same Wu-Horse branch involve Blade and Resource?
Under the Earth-following-Fire Blade convention used here, Wu Earth has Blade at Wu-Horse. Hidden Ji is opposite-polarity (whether a symbol is classified as yin or yang) Earth, hence Rob Wealth; Ding is opposite-polarity Fire generating Wu, hence Direct Resource. One branch can carry both relations.
| Branch | Hidden stems | Roles for Wu Earth |
|---|---|---|
| Wu-Horse | Ding, Ji | Direct Resource, Rob Wealth |
| Yin | Jia, Bing, Wu | Killings, Indirect Resource, Peer |
How does the source read Wu-Yin, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu, Wu-Wu?
All four stems are Wu Earth, while three Wu-Horse branches repeat Ding and Ji. Jia in Yin can control Earth and generate Fire, so the passage discusses Blade restraint, Wood–Fire–Earth generation and Peer support together.
Yin–Wu contains two Fire-trine members; Xu is absent, so this is not all three Yin–Wu–Xu branches. Wu-Wu month fits a Wu year, and Wu-Wu hour fits a Wu day.
Does more Fire always establish this reading?
No. The case combines several conditions; it does not make every Blade-plus-Resource arrangement favorable. Self strength, possible excess Resource, effective Jia and other contacts still matter.
Ren/Gui Water are Wealth (the role family controlled by the birth-day element, often interpreted through resources and practical demands) for Wu and can control Fire Resource. Whether that changes the main route depends on strength and the other Earth/Wood participants, not the mere appearance of one Water stem.
Does Blade becoming Resource mean a better temper or no danger?
It is not a measure of temperament or safety. Blade and Resource describe structural interpretations, not proof of anger, gentleness, violence or a personal transformation after a timing cycle.
The useful distinction explains why a reading may discuss self-support, competition and Resource imagery in one chart, with each interpretation tied to actual stems and relations.
