Dedicated Eating God Combining Lu: Wu Day, Geng-Shen Hour and Heavenly Kitchen
Dedicated Eating God (a traditional role associated with creativity, expression and enjoyment) Combining Lu starts with a Wu day at Geng-Shen hour: Geng is Wu’s Eating God and Shen its Lu. The passage then invokes Yi Officer (the role family that controls the birth-day element, often interpreted through rules and demands) through Geng’s combination relation, but its author also says the arrangement can simply be read as Heavenly Kitchen Eating God.
What is actually present in Geng-Shen hour?
Geng-Shen is the valid Shen hour for Wu. Exposed Geng is Eating God; hidden Geng, Ren and Wu are Eating God, Indirect Wealth (a traditional role associated with opportunities, exchange and wider connections) and Peer (a traditional role associated with independence and relationships among equals). Geng’s Lu at Shen is directly checkable.
Yi is Wu’s Officer and Yi–Geng is a stem combination, but Shen–Mao is not a standard Six Combination. The invoked Yi-Mao belongs to this special interpretive method, not a revised branch table or an extra pillar.
What do Jia, Bing, Mao and Yin each affect?
The four conditions concern different participants, rather than one vague purity score. These are the passage’s relations, not predictions from a single occurrence.
| Participant | Specific relation |
|---|---|
| Jia | Killings for Wu; Wood controls Earth |
| Bing | Indirect Resource for Wu; Fire controls Geng Eating God |
| Mao | Contains Yi Officer, making the target actually present |
| Yin | Clashes with Hour Branch Shen |
Why do the source cases resist a blanket prohibition?
After listing four cautions, the text gives Jia-Xu, Geng-Wu, Wu-Chen, Geng-Shen, which visibly contains Jia. The author explains Geng restraining it. This permits analysis of mediation rather than an absolute exclusion based on the short verse.
Geng-Wu month fits a Jia year and Geng-Shen hour a Wu day. Another example, Yi-Hai, Xin-Si, Wu-Shen, Geng-Shen, likewise has Eating God at Lu. The passage compares a Gui-Wei Month Pillar (the two-symbol column for the birth month) variant, showing why support and month context still matter.
What if ordinary Wealth/Officer or Heavenly Kitchen explains the chart?
The source gives precedence to established Wealth (the role family controlled by the birth-day element, often interpreted through resources and practical demands) or Officer in the month and calls Wu-Wu and Wu-Yin difficult days for this subtype. The Heavenly Kitchen note offers a direct reading of an Eating God together with its Lu branch.
This is not a higher personal rank than an ordinary pattern. Its useful distinction separates actual Eating God support from an additional implicit-Officer theory.
