Day Master Sitting on Wealth: Seven Source Days and Their Context

Day Master Sitting on Wealth reads Wealth hidden beneath the Day Stem in the Day Branch. Chen in Geng-Chen contains Yi Direct Wealth, while Mao in Xin-Mao contains Yi Indirect Wealth. These are specific relations, not a claim of being born with money.

Which Wealth appears in each of the seven source examples?

The passage pairs selected days with seasons. This table preserves those examples rather than claiming to list every day with any hidden Wealth. The same Yi or Xin has a different role for opposite-polarity (whether a symbol is classified as yin or yang) Day Masters.

Why does seated, seasonally supported Wealth still need support for the self?

For Xin-Mao in spring, Wood Wealth has seasonal support without making Xin Metal automatically strong. Earth Resource (the role family that supports the birth-day element, often interpreted through learning and support) generates Metal, while Water Output (the role family produced by the birth-day element, often interpreted through expression and activity) generates Wood Wealth. The two routes support different participants.

Peers (a traditional role associated with independence and relationships among equals) may support the self or compete over Wealth, while strong Wealth may add demands. Roots and effective strength still matter; seated Wealth does not remove the need to explain support and competition.

Why are Ren-Wu and Gui-Si also discussed as Lu and Horse together?

Wu 午 in Ren-Wu contains Ding Direct Wealth and Ji Officer (the role family that controls the birth-day element, often interpreted through rules and demands). Si in Gui-Si contains Bing Direct Wealth, Wu Officer and Geng Direct Resource (a traditional role associated with learning, care and dependable support). The passage therefore says not to read these solely through Wealth.

Lu here concerns authority and Horse concerns Wealth. It does not put Ren’s personal Lu at Wu or Gui’s at Si: their own Lu positions are Hai and Zi. The attractive title does not change the basic table.

Does Day-Branch Wealth establish a wealthy partner or money-management skill?

The placement cannot establish either. Traditional partner symbolism is not a partner’s asset statement, and Direct/Indirect Wealth is not an ability assessment. Money habits are observed through budgeting, execution and experience.

The page helps you identify the actual hidden Wealth and understand why season and other roles remain relevant. A clear placement explanation is more informative than a wealth promise based on the name.
