Fu Yuan Gui Sha: Hidden Stems under Control and Why the Roles Matter
Fu Yuan Gui Sha examines hidden Wealth, Officer or Seven Killings when exposed stems act on them. Fu suggests being held down or controlled. The central question is which role is affected: controlling Officer and controlling Killings do not have the same meaning within the theory.
How do four encountered pillars differ for a Jia Day Master?
Jia is the common reference. The rows are complete pillars it may encounter elsewhere in the chart. Identify their roles before interpreting the effect; Fire controlling Metal does not produce one conclusion in every case.

Why are Ding-You and Bing-Shen not both Hurting Officer meeting Officer?
For Jia, Ding is Hurting Officer and Xin Officer; Bing is Eating God and Geng Killings. Ding-You concerns Officer being controlled, whereas Bing-Shen suggests Eating God controlling Killings.
That identifies a relationship, not its final effect. Output’s strength, Killings’ strength, Resource interaction and seasonal support remain relevant. Ren and Wu in Shen must not disappear from the reading.
Does Jia meeting Ding-You mean a Jia day with a Ding-You hour?
No. The hour-stem (the upper symbol in the birth-hour column) sequence gives Gui-You for a Jia day at You, and Ren-Shen at Shen—not Ding-You or Bing-Shen. Encountering a pillar does not universally place it in the hour.
Jia days similarly have Geng-Wu at Wu and Xin-Wei at Wei. Presenting all four rows as special Jia-day hours would create incompatible charts. Keep the actual placement explicit.
Is Water controlling Fire always helpful in this account?
Not in every situation. If Ding is controlling a selected Xin Officer, Water controlling Fire may protect that Officer. If Bing is controlling Geng Killings, Water may instead interfere with the Eating God route. Specify which relationship is being used.
The source also considers seasonal support for Wealth under Wood’s control, rather than saying one controlling contact removes all Wealth. Gui Sha concerns historical authority terminology and control relationships, not a person’s occupation, status or inclination toward violence.
