Flowing Rosy Clouds: transmitted Liu Xia table and its limits
Flowing Rosy Clouds (Liu Xia, 流霞) is a stem-to-branch marker in some BaZi material, sometimes linked to bodily risk. This guide explains the table previously used in the knowledge base with an explicit limit: its early textual provenance is unverified, and Clarify does not calculate it.
What does the transmitted table actually contain?
The specific entries let readers identify whether another report uses this table. They are not presented as a verified classical authority or an enabled product rule. Under a Day-Stem (the upper symbol in the birth-day column) convention, select that row without silently adding the Year Stem (the upper symbol in the birth-year column).
| Reference Day Stem | Transmitted branch target |
|---|---|
| Jia | You |
| Yi | Xu |
| Bing | Wei |
| Ding | Shen |
| Wu 戊 | Si |
| Ji | Wu 午 |
| Geng | Chen |
| Xin | Mao |
| Ren | Hai |
| Gui | Yin |
Separate a Jia day from a Jia year
Conditional on this Day-Stem table, Jia with You at the month is a match. Yi instead targets Xu: a Jia Year Stem and You Month Branch (the lower symbol in the birth-month column) do not justify using the Jia-day answer.
Another marker may identify the same You branch. Several labels on one branch are not independent risk observations and cannot be added into a probability of injury.
What does the Liu Xia name establish?
The table helps identify a transmitted lookup and the reference another reading uses. Clarify supplies no calculated Liu Xia result. Understanding the term is not an additional finding of personal risk.
Associations involving clouds or blood contain no medical examination or accident-exposure data. Separate the lookup, its traditional interpretation and the actual situation; none can stand in for another.
