Officer Six Harmony: Officer, Branch Combination and Xun
Officer (the role family that controls the birth-day element, often interpreted through rules and demands) Six Harmony combines two checks: one stem is Direct Officer (a traditional role associated with rules, responsibility and expectations) for the chosen reference, and the two branches form a Six Harmony pair. It adds an Officer reference to branch harmony and a branch connection to Officer presence.
What are the two relations in each source example?
Xin is Officer for Jia and Zi–Chou is a harmony pair. Ren is Officer for Ding and Hai–Yin is another. Keep each complete unit together rather than assembling desired stems and branches across unrelated charts.

Why does the passage additionally value the same Xun?
A Xun is a ten-pair block of the sexagenary cycle (the repeating sequence of sixty paired calendar symbols). The passage praises same-Xun membership additionally, while neither listed pair shares one. Harmony and Xun membership are therefore separate checks.
Do not label every harmony pair same-Xun or remove an example merely because it is not. Keep the base relations and the additional refinement distinct.
Can these pairs simply be used as Day and Hour Pillars?
Hour calculation is another check. Chou hour on a Jia day is Yi-Chou, so Jia-Zi day with Xin-Chou hour is not a valid day–hour assignment. Yin hour on a Ding day is Ren-Yin. Relational matching and calendar validity are different.
The passage also lists 丁亥 壬寅 壬辰 辛巳, but Si hour on a Ren day should be Yi-Si under the common rule. The discrepancy remains visible rather than treating transmitted chart text as verified birth data.
What remains after finding Officer and harmony?
Officer support, the self’s strength, binding versus helpful contact and competing combinations or clashes still affect the reading. A branch harmony does not automatically establish elemental transformation.
