Compatibility timing: overlapping Luck Pillars and shared annual layers

Luck-Pillar (a pair of symbols used to interpret a roughly ten-year period) synchronization in compatibility usually means that two people’s cycles show comparable symbols or themes during the same calendar interval. It does not necessarily mean identical pillars or simultaneous cycle changes. Each timeline must be calculated independently before finding the actual overlap, and an annual layer must be read against each natal chart (the chart calculated for the birth moment) separately.

Are the same pillar, role and theme equivalent?

No. Two Bing-Fire cycles share a stem, but Bing is Eating God (a traditional role associated with creativity, expression and enjoyment) for Jia Wood and Direct Resource (a traditional role associated with learning, care and dependable support) for Ji Earth. Even if both reports mention family, one actual concern might be care arrangements and the other moving home. Only real information can establish that.

Complete the synchronization claim: which cycles, what interval, and whether the comparison concerns identical symbols or similar functions. Similar wording in two readings does not establish a shared event.

How do you find the overlap between two cycles?

These dates are entirely synthetic and demonstrate intervals; they were not calculated from anyone’s birth data. An end date is the next cycle’s first day and is excluded from the previous cycle. The overlap takes the later start and earlier end.

Can two age bands simply be aligned?

No. Different birth years and starting ages mean that two “ages 30–39” bands need not share calendar dates. If one person changes cycle midway, split the comparison there instead of extending the former conclusion across the other person’s full ten years.

Clarify currently uses approximate solar terms (seasonal markers based on 24 divisions of the Sun’s yearly path) and a rounded starting age for Luck-Pillar display. Integer ages do not establish an exact handover day or hour. The precise dates above illustrate interval logic. A boundary comparison must retain the tool’s precision and methodological uncertainty rather than inventing an exact date.

How can one Bing-Wu year contact two charts differently?

Using Jia-Zi and Ji-Chou Day-Pillar (the two-symbol column for the birth day) fragments again, Bing is Eating God for Jia and Direct Resource for Ji. Wu clashes with A’s Zi but harms B’s Chou. One Bing-Wu annual layer produces different labels from the two references.

A full comparison also needs both remaining natal charts and current cycles, plus the adopted annual boundary. Beginning of Spring and January 1 are different boundaries and should not be mixed. An annual contact cannot jump to a particular event day without a separately specified shorter-cycle method.

Do overlapping change themes establish a wedding?

If both people are considering work in different places, they can discuss when visits or living arrangements need review. Those plans come from the participants; chart language describes a timing background. Without shared plans, synchronization cannot supply a meeting, registration or reconciliation.

When looking backward, include years without a shared event and similar labels accompanied by different experiences. Selecting only one matching year can make a rule appear to produce the same result every time.

Does misaligned timing mean a relationship cannot work?

First clarify the kind of misalignment. The table uses whole-month intervals with the start included and the end excluded. These are invented teaching intervals, not cycles calculated from two people’s birth information.

Adjacent intervals have no shared dates. That does not mean the people cannot meet or should not form a relationship. Even identical intervals can have different functions because Day Masters and natal charts differ.

If one person is busy with work and the other is moving, discuss actual contact time and arrangements. A timeline clarifies the scope of a comparison; it does not decide whether the people should wait, begin or end a relationship.
