How much weight should Fate Stars receive? Structure, Ten Gods and no scorekeeping

There is no percentage shared across all Fate-Star tables. Clarify first reads pillars, Month Command (the seasonal conditions represented by the birth month), strength, structure, Ten Gods (traditional labels for relationships to the birth-day element) and direct stem-branch contacts, then decides whether a sourced marker relevant to the question adds context. Older Lu Ming frameworks can give Fate Stars a different status and must be named explicitly.

What evidence order does Clarify use?

Verify calendar and pillars, then Month Command, roots and strength, structure and Ten Gods, direct contacts and timing, and finally sourced Fate Stars relevant to the question. This is Clarify’s interpretation policy, not the only historical order.

A Lu Ming reading centered on Year Fate, Nayin (a separate named element classification for a complete pair of chart symbols) and spirits should be labeled and applied coherently rather than borrowing selective Ziping rules as support.

How can a Ten God and Fate Star share one pillar?

Calculate each independently. For a Jia Day Master (the birth-day element used as the chart’s reference), Jia hidden in Month Yin is Companion; if a Shen–Zi–Chen anchor also makes Yin Traveling Horse, the Month Branch (the lower symbol in the birth-month column) carries two separate records.

Cross-read only when the question, Month carrier and both rules are relevant. Horse does not cause Companion, and Companion does not prove travel.

Why favorable and adverse labels cannot cancel out

Heavenly Nobleman, Robbery and Canopy come from different formulas with no common unit. Subtracting an adverse label from two favorable ones is arithmetic on names, not a calculation supplied by the tables.

Compare source quality, matched location, contact with primary structure, relevance, independent repetition and duration. Those guide narrative priority, not probability or a fate score.

Where should a clashed Yin Horse appear in a reading?

Describe Month Yin’s real seasonal and structural role, then whether Shen clashes it and from which layer. If travel is relevant, add that Yin is also a Horse match. Without that question, the label can stay out of the summary.

Weight follows the completeness of the evidence chain, not a dramatic name or number of pages.
